CLEARWATER - The Island Estates Civic Association has kicked off their annual membership drive to all residents and businesses of Island Estates. Year-end invoices were mailed to current members in November. However, all residents are welcome and encouraged to join the Association. Frank Dame, president of the Civic Association stated, "Our Association promotes unity throughout our Island Estates community. The strength of our voice heard by city officials is directly related to our membership strength when dealing with common issues affecting the Island. We encourage all residents and businesses of Island Estates to join our voluntary Association."
Dues for Association membership are $25 per year for residents and $40 per year for businesses on the Island. Among other benefits, membership entitles members to attend the Association's fabulous Spring and Fall Socials and other events throughout the year.
