
Type O donors are "O" so important because they get along with all blood types. "O" Donor Days will be held at all of the Florida Blood Services Donor Centers and on all of the bloodmobiles during the entire month of March.

1680 South Missouri Avenue, South of Belleair, by Office Depot, Clearwater.
Monday: Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
All lifesaving donors during the month of March will receive a special edition O'Donor T-shirt, and a wellness checkup, including a cholesterol screening, plus all donors will be automatically entered in a drawing to win a 32-inch widescreen LCD flat-screen TV.
Generally, healthy people age 17 or older who weigh at least 100 pounds can be blood donors. Identification is required prior to donation. For further information, call 1-800-68-BLOOD.
Florida Blood Services provides for the blood needs of patients at 38 hospitals in Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco and Pinellas counties, through the generosity of volunteer blood donors. Over 750 donations are required daily, due to the high quality of medical care in Tampa Bay that services the most critically ill patients throughout west central Florida.
