The Daughters of Italy Lodge #2875, the first and only all-women's Florida Lodge of The Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA), will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, at the Countryside Public Library, 2741 State Road 580, Clearwater.
Refreshments of coffee and Italian desserts will be served followed by installation of the new officers for the next two-year term. The newly elected officers are: Vincenza DiLiberti, president; Carla Santilli, vice-president; Sally Simino, orator; Marie LoPresti, financial secretary; Lenora Chicka, treasurer; Anna LaCognata, recording secretary; Filomena Barabba, Vera Barbara, Lucy Bono, Carmela Drago, Kathy Falco, trustees; Joyce Lange, Cathy Lazzizzera, mistresses of ceremony and Arlene Mather, guard.
During the meeting a cultural program will discuss the region of Venice, Italy, the Italian Carnevale, and decorated masks and costumes. Italian and non-Italian women are invited to attend. For information call 447-6890 or 455-1521.
