The 2006 Sheriff Jim Coats Clearwater Women's Open Tournament, one of over 40 USTA Pro Circuit women's professional tournaments across the country, provides an opportunity for our community to watch junior, collegiate, and young pro players compete for ranking points as they aspire to reach the WTA Tour.
The tournament also provides an opportunity for our community to celebrate the sport of tennis and to participate in community involvement events. This year's tournament will include the "Welcome to Tennis Family Day presented by Alfac" on Saturday, February 25, from 1 - 4 p.m., the USTA Member Appreciation Day on Tuesday, February 28, from 5 until 7 p.m., and the Pro-Am on Tuesday, February 28 from 6 - 8 p.m.
