The First Nighters will kick off a new season on March 15 with the first of two Gala Champagne Premiers to benefit the Francis Wilson Playhouse in Clearwater. A champagne reception with hors d'oeuvres and an opportunity to win drawing is scheduled at 7 p.m. The curtain will rise at 8 p.m. The musical "Oliver!" (book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart) will be produced by special arrangement with Tams Witmark Music Library, Inc. Directors are Jason Fortner and James Grenelle. Mark Jelks is musical director. The First Nighters, a dedicated group of women who believe that a live theatre experience should be a very special occasion, invite you to join them and other theatre afficionados at the Francis Wilson Playhouse, 302 Seminole St., for this event. Donation is $25 per person.
