
Heritage Village presents “Speaking of History” Talks
- Sat., March 11, 1 p.m.: St. Petersburg’s Historic 22nd St. S.: A Place Called Home. Writers Jon Wilson and Rosalie Peck discuss their new book that tells the story of what was once St. Petersburg’s most vibrant African American neighborhood. Book sale and signing will follow. This program will be held in the Pinellas Room at Heritage Village. Admission is free.
- Mon., March 13, 10 a.m.: Cow Hunters & Cowboys. J.B. Starkey Jr., son of pioneer cattle rancher J.B. Starkey, talks about his family’s agricultural roots in Pinellas County. This program will be held in the Pinellas Room at Heritage Village. Admission is free.

Heritage Village, operated by Pinellas County government, is a 21-acre living history museum located at Pinewood Cultural Park, also home to the Extension Service, the Florida Botanical Gardens and the Gulf Coast Museum of Art.
