On Saturday, March 10, members of the Clearwater flotilla of the Coast Guard Auxiliary participated in a coastal cleanup organized by Keep Pinellas Beautiful. Over 250 lbs. of garbage was collected from two spoil islands located west of downtown Clearwater and west of Belleair, that are popular with boaters. In addition first aid was administered to a camper on the first island and to a child on the second.
