Indigo Beach Residences Hosts Successful Preview Event

by Nancy Hart

On Thursday night, March 16, traffic came to a standstill along south Gulf Boulevard on Clearwater Beach. But this was not traffic due to the usual crowd of sunset enthusiasts hoping to find a parking spot at Pier 60. Approximately 700 people arrived at 430 Gulf Boulevard to celebrate one of Clearwater's newest beach developments, Indigo Beach Residences and Suites.

Invitations to the event were sent to city and county officials, local realtors, those who have expressed interest and those who have already purchased a unit at the Indigo. Residents from both buildings adjacent to the Indigo property were also included in the guest list because, as Bob Glantz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Indigo's developers explained, "We want to be good neighbors while we are under construction."

The gala was held under a large white tent on the beach of the former Adam's Mark Hotel and the site of the future Indigo residential community. The theme was tropical, "a Tommy Bahama West Indies feeling," explained party planner Tara Liaschenko of Link Even Professionals. Tropical foliage adorned a large buffet table loaded with scrumptious platters of Caribbean beef skewers, jerk chicken and plantains, shrimp sautéed in garlic and chilies and pork marinated in a mango Jalapeno relish. An island band played music throughout the evening.

Bob Glantz, took this opportunity to introduce the staff who will be responsible for selling this 15-story beachfront tower community consisting of 112 residences and 78 condo-suites. Beachfront Condominium units will sell from one million to over $2.5 million and the condo/hotel suites start from approximately $350,000.
