Local businesses and all interested parties are invited to a Beach Walk Hard Hat Meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 9:30 a.m. at the Clearwater Beach Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, 715 S. Beach Walk construction is moving along. Workers on First Street are installing pipes so that ground water is removed from the site to allow installation of new utilities in dry conditions. This process is called dewatering. Third Street is being repaved. On Fifth Street, storm drains and sewer lines are being installed and water mains are being constructed. Although activity on Coronado Drive will increase next week, one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction. The speed limit on Coronado Drive is 20 miles per hour; please use caution.
