CLEARWATER - Boys ages 8-12 are invited to read and talk about guy-type books in a guy-type way on April 28, 3 p.m., at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Games and activities will follow. Sign ups are necessary.

"Guys Read" tales place the last Friday of every month at 3 p.m. During the summer they will meet every Friday. Book discussion schedule is as follows:

• April 28 - "The Power of UN" - Nancy Etchemendy
• May 26 - "Me All Alone at the End of the World" - M.T. Anderson
• June 9 - "Long Way from Chicago" - Richard Peck
• June 16 - "Long Way From Chicago" - Richard Peck
• June 23 - "The Assassins of Rome" - Caroline Lawrence
• June 30 - "The Friends" - Kazumi Yumoto
• July 7 - "The Friends" - Kazumi Yumoto
• July 14 - "The Door in the Lake" - Nancy Butts
• July 19 - "World According to Humphrey" - Barry Birney
