CLEARWATER - The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast will host its sixth annual Hospice Beach Stroll at Clearwater Beach on May 6, beginning and ending at the Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill, 10 Bay Esplanade. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m. Proceeds raised at this event benefit the programs and services for people and families served by The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
Teams and individuals are encouraged to secure pledges ahead of time and bring those funds to the stroll registration. Those who collect pledges will receive T-shirts and will be eligible to win prizes. There will be music, snacks and drinks at the Palm Pavilion. Teams are encouraged to obtain corporate sponsors and wear the organization's logo on team shirts. Last year, strollers of all ages helped The Hospice Beach Stroll raise more than $48,000.
