May 8, 10 a.m.: Sands of Time. Learn about the history of Pinellas County’s barrier islands and their longtime lure as a tourist destination with Kay and Lance Peterson from the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum. This program will be held in the Safety Harbor Church at Heritage Village. Admission is free.
