CLEARWATER - Island Estates Yacht Club Progressive Dinner, held April 22, began at the waterfront home of Marcia and Ralph Coxshead. The hors d'oeuvres table was laden with Joyce Smith's creations, a bountiful shrimp platter and many delectable goodies.
Tom Smith, Michael Lawrence, and Jim Ostrosky coordinated the food and wine distribution to the host homes. Donis Campbell and Barbara Ottilie took charge of getting the members to draw for the host homes. The host homes were: Bess Bentler, Fran and Joel Briskman, Nancy and Michael Lawrence, Dianne and Chuck Stebbins, Carolyn and Fred Teague, Nur and Aytekin Ulen, Jeannette and Ed Ziegler, and Norma Soukop.
Hilda Trew and Marian McCaslin co-chaired the party and chose a menu of: tossed salad, manicotti, lemon chicken, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, along with Clos du Bois Chardonnay. Alfano's Restaurant prepared the meals. After dinner members progressed to the homes of Jan and Chuck Nagy for desserts, coffee and after dinner cordials.
