LARGO - Florida's Night Skies, an introduction to astronomy, will be presented by amateur astronomer John O'Neill on Thursday evening, May 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room B of the Jenkins Community Wing. O'Neill is a member of the St. Petersburg Astronomy Club and specializes in astro imaging. He will discuss how to get started in astronomy, select a telescope and the best places to view stars, constellations, and meteor events.
