So the U.S. has a problem with 12 million - more or less - illegal aliens from South of the Border. They are not illegal "immigrants." "Immigrant" is a legal status, and the individuals who got over our undefended border are illegal from the git-go. The argument that deporting 12 million illegals is beyond government capability, too much expense, etc. is nonsense. In the years 1942, 1943, 1944 and most of 1945 the U.S. government processed 13 million individuals into the Armed Forces and logistically took care of housing, clothing, feeding, transporting and providing medical care for them. Time for the government to obey its own laws.
