41-pounder Wins King of the Beach Tournament
Winning Fish - (pictured from left to right) Jerry Solovskoy, Doug Henrrriot and Captain Robert Snibbe fishing off the boat Team Native, took first prize in the King of the Beach Tournament held May 6. The winning Kingfish weighed in at 41 pounds. First-place prize was $10,000 (in addition to $7,000 in the Calcutta). Nearly 300 boats participated in the tournament.
