(from left) Janet Moyer, recreation leader at the City of Largo's McGough Nature Park, is pleased to see the five large garbage bags filled with litter and debris collected from the waterways at the Largo Central Park Nature Preserve by volunteers Judy Fisher, Joan Shemansky and Jack Shemansky during the Florida Spring Cleanup a while back. The preserve was one of over 20 cleanup sites throughout the county. The annual event is part of the national Great American Cleanup promoted each year by Keep America Beautiful. T-shirts were provided for all the volunteers who participated.
