Have you made it known to your loved ones about your wishes for the kind of care you would prefer if specific health issues arise?
You are invited to attend a Free Living Will workshop on Wednesday, June 14, noon-6 p.m., at the Clearwater East Library, 2251 Drew Street.
Volunteer attorneys from the Clearwater Bar Association will be available to assist you in executing a Florida Living Will. No appointment is necessary and assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis. This service is free.
A Living Will is a document that allows a person to explain in writing which medical treatment he or she wants or does not want during a terminal illness. A Living Will takes effect when the patient is incapacitated and can no longer express is or her wishes.
