The Island Estates Civic Association is holding its second Town Hall Meeting of 2006 for its community citizens at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 19th on the first floor of the Clearwater Main Library.
Discussion topics will be Hurricane Preparedness and Property Taxes. Guest speakers for the meeting will be Mr. Bill Vola, Emergency Manager for the City of Clearwater and Mr. Jim Smith, Pinellas County Tax Appraiser. "We want to ensure our citizens our prepared for this year's hurricane season and also want to discuss the property tax appraisal process so our citizens know how to address the escalating property taxes on Island Estates" said Frank Dame, President of the Association.
Membership in the Civic Association is not required to attend. All residents of Island Estates are invited to this meeting to hear information and discuss their concerns on these important topics.
