The Resource Center for Women (RCW) provides affordable computer training in its computer lab. Group computer orientation classes are held each month on the second and fourth Tuesdays. In July these classes are scheduled for July 11 and July 25 from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. There is a $10 donation requested for each participant. One-on-one computer sessions can be scheduled as needed. There is a $5 donation requested for each 30-minute, one-on-one session. The Computer Lab, equipped with a variety of self-directed computer learning tutorials is available for free use from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
The Resource Center for Women helps women in transition develop employment, personal and parenting skills that lead to self-sufficiency. RCW does this through life skills' training, which includes programs in career development, personal guidance, money management, parenting classes and a computer lab.
