TARPON SPRINGS - The best place to view the city of Tarpon Springs' Fourth of July fireworks display will be Pinellas County's Fred H. Howard Park. Ooh and aah the spectacle beginning at dusk on Tuesday, July 4, from the park, beach and causeway at 1700 Sunset Dr., Tarpon Springs. Parking will be available at Fred H. Howard Park's lots.
Tarpon Springs is coordinating the event with the assistance and cooperation of the Pinellas County Park Department and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.
Due to safety and fire hazard concerns, no fireworks - including sparklers - will be allowed in the park. Any fireworks brought into the park will be confiscated. Fireworks will be launched from the city's Sunset Park Beach on Gulf Road.
