PALM HARBOR - The GFWC Palm Harbor Junior Women's Club and the Palm Harbor Library are co-sponsoring "Hats Off to Kids Day" on Saturday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event, which will be held at the Palm Harbor Library at 2330 Nebraska Avenue, will include local agencies and businesses dedicated to children, including the YMCA, Palm Harbor Parks and Recreation, the Morton Plant Mease Wellness Center, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, American Red Cross, and Chick-Fil-A.
There will be outdoor and indoor displays, games, crafts, and free handouts as well as a giant "Bouncie," free face painting by artist Chris Beem, and balloon sculptures by Rick the Balloonatic!
This celebration is also a fundraiser for Clothes to Kids, Inc., a local organization that provides free school clothes to low-income students in Pinellas County. While at the event, drop off new or gently used school clothes at their table and purchase tickets for chance drawings of wonderful prize baskets. All proceeds will benefit Clothes to Kids, Inc.
