LARGO - Musicians with orchestra or band experience who would like to play with a "fun" group should consider joining the Pinellas Community orchestra, now in its 38th season. The group consists of about 15 to 20 musicians who perform several times a year at independent living units, nursing homes, church groups, etc., usually during the day. This is a great opportunity for musicians to continue their orchestra activities without the pressures of playing in a professional group.
Rehearsals are held on Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Anona United Methodist Church, Largo, in the music room. Call (727) 397-6937 for more information. Fall rehearsals will start October 6.
