CLEARWATER - Over 5,000 "gently used" children's books will be offered for purchase at the upcoming Children's Book Sale & Mini Flea Market which will take place at 1250 Palmetto Street (the former Greenwood Public Library building) on Saturday, August 5. Handbags, sports equipment, games, glassware, kitchen items, costume jewelry and a variety of knick knacks are among the hundreds of sale items. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available in rear of building. Proceeds will benefit the non-profit Community Pride Child Care Center, Inc.
