If you haven's tried the touch screen voting machines yet, here's your chance before the September 5th Primary Election. You can also register to vote at the same time. The registration deadline for the Primary Election is August 7. The Supervisor of Elections office has scheduled the following machine demonstrations and voter registration sites:

• Aug. 5 - Clearwater Threshers, Bright House Field, 601 Old Coachman Road, Clearwater, 5:45 - 8:45 p.m.
• Aug. 5 & 6 - USA Hurricane and Home Show, Harborview Center, Clearwater, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Aug. 5 & 6 - Oldsmar Flea Market, 180 Race Track Road, Oldsmar, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Aug. 19 - Largo Cultural Center Birthday Bash, Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Dr., Largo, 5 - 10 p.m.
• Aug. 22 - Politics in the Park, Coachman Park, Clearwater, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

You may also register to vote at your nearest public library or driver's license office, or at any government office handling social services or disabilities.
