Preschoolers on the Prowl at Heritage Village

Wash day at Heritage Village's Log Cabin

LARGO, Fla. – Little ones and their parents or grandparents are invited to explore hands-on history at Heritage Village’s new program, Preschool Village Ramblers. See what’s happening at Pinellas County’s living history museum as you take a morning walk through the Village. Join living history interpreters in the everyday life activities of an early Florida homestead. Grind corn, collect eggs, till the garden, mend fishing nets and try your hand at washing clothes the old fashioned way.

The Ramblers meet monthly on the first Wednesday, starting in September, 10-11:30 a.m.

· Sept. 6: Fun on the Farm
· Oct. 4: How Our Garden Grows
· Nov. 1: Seaside Treasures
· Dec. 6: Scrub a Dub Dub

Fee per program date: $6 per child, Pinellas County Historical Society members; $8 per child, nonmembers. Two adults admitted free per child.
