The Clearwater flotilla of the Coast Guard Auxiliary will be offering an eight- lesson program on Basic Coastal Navigation beginning September 7 and ending October 2. Participants will learn how to use charts and plotting tools to get your vessel from where you are to where you want to go, safely and efficiently. The program meets Thursdays and Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Clearwater Sailing Center, 1001 Gulf Blvd., Sand Key. The program is open to adults and youths.
