Highland Rec Hosts Family Fun Day

Largo Fire Rescue public educator Jeanine Mayo, front right, and Community Emergency Response Team volunteer Georgia Wildrick hand out red plastic helmets, bookmarks in the shape of a fire hydrant, honorary firefighter badges and pamphlets providing fire safety tips to youngsters attending the Family Fun Day at the Highland Recreation Complex in Largo on August 19. The event included a tug-of-war, family relays, face painting, educational exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment and free refreshments.
