CLEARWATER - The program committee for the Island Estates Woman's Club has finalized plans for the upcoming year starting with the September luncheon meeting to be held at the Clearwater Country Club on Sept. 19 with a presentation by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
The October 17 luncheon meeting will feature line dancing and will be held at the Dunedin Country Club.
The November 14 luncheon meeting will be held aboard Clearwater's marvelous Starlite Majesty and karaoke will be part of the program.
A spectacular Holiday luncheon is scheduled on December 12 at the beautifully decorated Carlouel Country Club; rounding out the party will be a piano sing-along.
To start the New Year, a popular luncheon meeting in the past, will be the silent auction on January 16 at Island Way Grill.
In February, the annual scholarship fundraiser fashion show will be featured at the Belleair Country Club on the 20th. Wear your funky, classic or contemporary Spring hat and participate in the a guided hotel tour with lots of local folklore on March 21 at the Belleview Biltmore.
The April 17 luncheon meeting will be held at Alfano's popular Italian restaurant with Paulette Pepper and her ensemble entertaining.
The May luncheon meeting, on the 15th, winds up the year with the awarding of scholarships and election of officers. The place is to be announced.
