Catherine Miller, member of the Classy Lassies Chapter of the Red Hat Society, center, is greeted by fellow members Rosanna Wright, left, and Midge Orris at the recent surprise party hosted by friends and family in honor of her 90th birthday. Mrs. Miller, who was born in Boston and lived in Connecticut before moving to Florida in 1972, has resided in Largo for the past 14 years. For many years she was a volunteer at Morton Plant Hospital, where she enjoyed delivering flowers and cards to patients. She is a longtime member of the XYZ Card Club and has been a member of the Classy Lassies for the past four years. Keeping active is the key to her longevity, she believes.
