CLEARWATER - From September 7 - 17, The Francis Wilson Playhouse, 302 Seminole St., Clearwater, will present The Second Time Around, a comical look at the younger generation's reaction to seniors in love, and their very own Leading Lady, Maureen Searle has in "real life" just remarried. She and her new husband, Frank Hovenkamp married on August 19, less than month before Maureen's opening performance as Laura Curtis, a 60-year-old widowed grandmother planning her second marriage.
In the play, 60+ Sam and Laura know how they want to live their lives yet their children and grandchildren cannot understand that love is for the young at heart, not just for the "young." Laugh and cheer as Sam and Laura teach their families that, young or old, you can't stop the course of true love.
