Mozart and the Three Ms

LARGO - The Pinellas Opera League is proud to present Michael L. Blauner, Ph.D. in an hour-long talk devoted to the great operas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at Largo Public Library on September 14, at 7 p.m., in the Jenkins Community Wing. The talk is part of the first Mozart festival Discovering Mozart: 250 Years of Music and Joy presented in various venues throughout Pinellas County by the Pinellas Opera League. In this talk, Mozart and the Three Ms: (M)usic; (M)irth; and (M)elody, Dr. Blauner will discuss the ironies, wit, and understatements Mozart composed for his greatest operas. Video and audio excerpts of live performances will help the audience understand Mozart's intent.

This program is free and open to the public. Largo Public Library is located at 120 Central Park Drive in Largo.
