Teen Programs at Largo Library for September

Ramen Bar - Largo Public Library Youth Services will host a monthly Ramen Bar for teens interested in Asian culture on the second Tuesday of the month, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the teen room. Teens will enjoy eating "Ramen Noodles" while engaging in a variety of Asian Culture activities. This month teens will be exposed to Japanese traditional and modern music. Be sure to come hungry for knowledge and noodles. This program is intended for middle and high school students.

Read-A-Therapy is a craft and book discussion group for teens held at Largo Public Library on the third Tuesday of every month, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the teen room. Teens are you stressed? Do you need to relax? Then come to Read-A-Therapy and learn how reading can be therapeutic. Be sure to bring your favorite book or poem to share with other teens or just sit back and enjoy. For additional relaxation, this month you will be learning the art of quilling. The program is intended for middle and high school students.

How to Series Meditation - How to Series for teens is held on the first Saturday of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. in the teen room. Teens will be introduced to a new film activity every month. This month teens will learn how to reduce stress through meditation. This program is intended for teens in middle and high school.

Art and Paper Series Calligraphy - An Art and Paper Series for teens is held on the second Saturday of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. in the teen room. Teens will be introduced to a new fun activity every month. This month teens will learn the art of calligraphy. This program is intended for teens in middle and high school.

Teen Film Club is a movie discussion group for teens held at Largo Public Library on the third Saturday of every month, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Jenkins Assembly room. - call to find out this month's movie. Have fun with movie trivia, contests and other film related activities. Enjoy free popcorn and soda. This program is intended for teens ages 13-19.
