The League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County will sponsor the following events, which are open to the public:
Monday, September 11 at 2 p.m. - International Relations Committee will meet at the Pinellas Park Library, located at 78th Ave. and 52nd St., Pinellas Park.
Saturday, September 16 at 9:30 a.m. - A "Hot Topic" discussion, with a film called "Ghosts of Democracy." The discussion will encompass restoration of voting rights of felons and will be held at Regency Oaks, located at 2770 Soule Road, Clearwater. A free breakfast will be included. Sunday, September 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. - A candidate forum to be held at the Kent Jewish Center, located at 2010 Greenbriar Blvd., Clearwater. The moderator will be Mike Desson, of "Tampa Bay's 10 News." The event is co-sponsored by the League, and Hadassah, both non-partisan organizations.
