LARGO - Local author Dorothy Lyons will be at the Largo Public Library on Tuesday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the library's lobby for a book signing. She is the author of the new inspirational book Carrie: Season of a Second Chance. Lyons has spent years as an administrator in the medical, business and church worlds, and has volunteered in many areas of church work. Her love for music has led her to write several songs, play roles in musicals, and appear on Christian television and in local church programs. Recently her love for writing came to fulfillment in the publication of this book, which is a tribute to her mother's unusual life story.
