INDIAN SHORES - Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary is in dire need of dedicated volunteers to fill all positions. It's baby bird season and the Sanctuary has hundreds of hungry little mouths to feed and care for. Dedicated hospital and outside volunteers are needed now. Also, recruiting for North Pinellas County is underway.
If you love wildlife, are 18 years + and can spare at least 4 consecutive hours a week, you are the just the person needed.
Additionally, the Sanctuary has implemented a Student Volunteer Program for serious minded youth 16 years + who are interested in a career in wildlife or are completing Service Learning Hours for high school graduation requirements.
For more information on both volunteer programs stop by the Sanctuary office, 18328 Gulf Blvd., Indian Shores, call (727) 391-6211, or visit www.seabirdsanctuary.org
