CLEARWATER - The third annual Sand Key Triathlon will take place Sunday, September 24, at Sand Key Park. The swim start is at 7:15 a.m. The swim will be a 1/3 mile swim parallel to the beach in the Gulf of Mexico.
The bike will leave the park going left on Gulf Blvd. and transit through Clearwater Beach on Gulfview to Coronado, to the Memorial Causeway, going up the Causeway to Prospect, making a right hand turn then left on Turner, left on Martin Luther King, and left on Court and back down the Causeway to Eastshore, making a right going to Baymont, turning left, then another left on Mandalay back to Gulfview, and back to the park.
The run portion of the event will take place entirely inside the park.
This event will take approximately 1 to 2 hours early Sunday morning.
