Beach Walk construction continues. The work at Fifth Street and Coronado Drive is almost done, and the road will be reopened as soon as the area is paved. Crews are actively putting in a 16-inch water line and 8-inch sanitary sewer line on the west side of Coronado Drive. They are connecting sewer laterals and installing water service lines. All of these efforts are improving the infrastructure on Clearwater Beach.
Westra Construction, Inc. has installed access signs along Coronado Drive to help identify entrances to businesses. Pedestrian crossings are also clearly marked. Remember to be especially careful and lower your speed in all construction zones.
