The City of Clearwater recently opened a new parking lot on South Clearwater Beach. The 25-space lot is located on the southwest corner of First Street and Hamden Avenue and includes one handicap space. A 5-hour parking limit is in place, and parking rates are $1/hr., Monday-Friday and $1.25/hr. on weekends and everyday during March and April. Meters are enforced from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m., everyday, and no parking is allowed between 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. Call (727) 562-4704 for more information.
