Largo Central Elementary Hosts All Pro Dads Breakfast

Damon Weisz and his daughter, Destiney, seated, welcome George Piazza and his son, Joshua, to Largo Central Elementary School's first "Dads and Donuts" Breakfast on September 22. The school's PTA board consisting of president Debbie Stotts, vice presidents Mary Walsh and Brenda Chevere, recording secretary Becky Kindelspire and corresponding secretary Maureen Minutolo teamed up with Title I facilitator Renee Wheeler and family involvement coordinator Jamie Campbell to present the All Pro Dads event. Weisz and Piazza are captain and co-captain, respectively, of the All Pro Dads program at the school. The program stresses the importance of getting fathers involved in the schools.

The cafeteria at Largo Central Elementary was packed for the school's first "Dads and Donuts" Breakfast on September 22. The All Pro Dads event was presented by the PTA and Title I. Food for the breakfast was donated by Chick-fil-A. A "Pumpkin and Pizza" Party is scheduled for fathers and their children in October.
