CLEARWATER - The Upper Pinellas African Violet Society will host a plant sale Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will be held at Cypress Meadows Community Church, 2180 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater (north of Union and south of Enterprise on the east side.) There will be many varieties of flowering African violets, starter plants, leaves and the other gesneriads. UPAVS has one of the largest selections in Florida of African violet-related supplies for sale. There will be members on hand to answer questions on growing violets and the other gesneriads beautifully. Bring in your problem plants you will be given help.
