CLEARWATER - Volunteer attorneys will be on hand to answer specific legal questions free of charge for individuals on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 6-9 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1012 Pennsylvania, Clearwater. The public is invited. Topics include traffic, divorce, custody, family, child support, landlord/tenant, wills and estate planning, bankruptcy and creditor law, small claims and consumer issues, personal injury, workers comp, income tax, and restoration of rights.
The event is sponsored by the Upper Pinellas Country Ministerial Alliance in cooperation with Clearwater Bar Association and Foundation and Gulfcoast Legal Services. Refreshments and babysitting will be provided.
The Clerk of the Court will show a video on small claims issues throughout the evening. Living Wills can also be provided. Information on other legal resources will also be available.
