The Resource Center for Women will hold a special workshop of its "Making Every Dollar Count" program on Thursday, October 19, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The workshop is free and open to the public (men and women). Registration is required. To register call RCW at 727-586-1110.
The workshop will focus on the following money management topics: Setting up systems to pay bills on time, learning what to do when you can't pay cash and how to stretch your dollars. The classes are held in a comfortable, non-intimidating environment that encourages group discussion and interactive learning.
The Resource Center for Women helps women in transition develop employment, personal and parenting skills that lead to self-sufficiency. RCW does this through life skills' training, which includes programs in career development, personal guidance, money management, parenting classes and a computer lab.
RCW services are funded by the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County, Pinellas County Community Foundation, the Schoen Foundation, individual and corporate donors.
