
Program - November 6 - (Starting at 6 p.m.) Welcome back potluck dinner and presenters from Audubon Ecology Camp. Please bring a dish to serve six and your own table service. Teachers and students who received 2005 Clearwater Audubon scholarships to Maine Audubon Ecology Camp on Hog Island, Me will describe their adventures. The dinner is held in the Education Center at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park Trail Lane in Clearwater.
Field Trips - All field trips are open to the public and most are free. There is a charge for van trips and in the case of car pooling, a reimbursement to the driver for gas is considered proper. Overnight trips involve additional costs for lodging and travel and also require reservations. In all cases, a contact is noted who can provide additional details. When the meeting place is Tri-City Mall, assemble outside the Party City store near US 19. When the meeting place is Westfield Shopping Town-Countryside Mall, assemble outside Sears near US 19. Be mindful that there may be no restroom facilities at field trip site. Rest stops will be provided on longer trips. Please bring water and sun screen. Lunch will be noted in field trip description.
