Participants learned how to collect rainwater frrom downspouts for later use in home landscaping, flower beds and vegetable gardens. Armed with the knowledge they gained from the free lecture, Moore, Hoke-Singer and Pazder decided to purchase and put to good use the rain barrels shown above. Did you know a 55-gallon container will fill up with approximately a half inch of rainfall?
