LARGO - The public is invited to honor America's Veterans and celebrate the re-opening of the James S. Miles and Richard A. Leandri Military Court of Honor Saturday, November 11, at Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive. The ceremony will include a color guard presentation, patriotic music, keynote speaker, an essay contest and more! High school students are encouraged to participate in a Veterans Day Essay Contest. Essay guidelines and contest information are available at Southwest Recreation Complex, Highland Recreation Complex, Largo City Hall and on-line at www.largo.com.
All ages are welcome to attend. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. It is free.
