LARGO - A Mostly Swing Dance will be held Saturday, November 11. The theme is "Stars & Stripes" . . . remembering the U.S.O. Dress in 1940's military, civilian clothes, or choose a U.S.O. celebrity like Jimmy Durante or Marilyn Monroe. Also, all veterans attending the dance that night will be acknowledged.
The dance will be held at Largo Community Center, 65 Fourth Street, N.W. in Largo - basic swing dance lesson 7-8 p.m., DJ dance 8-11 p.m. with mostly swing, plus cha cha, rumba, foxtrot, waltz and requests. Admission $6 includes lesson.
All ages admitted, singles and couples welcome to a smoke-free dance. There is free ample parking. Burgers, hot dogs, chips, water and soft drinks are available for a nominal fee.
