SAFETY HARBOR - Learn about the history of Philippe Park while exploring the wonder of nature at the Explore & Hike Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9 to 11 a.m.
It is recommended that hikers wear closed-toe shoes, and bring drinking water, sunscreen, a hat and insect repellant. Meet at the Philippe grave-site at 9 a.m. The hike is limited to 12 participants. Register by calling (727) 669-1947.
Reservations are accepted until Friday, Nov. 17. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
