BELLEAIR BLUFFS - The city's pension plan for firefighters was held up again as the City Commission decided at its meeting November 20 to take all necessary time to gather information before making any change in the firefighters pension plan.
Because Commissioners Bob Russo and Troy Krotz were absent, action on the evaluations of department heads was put off to the December workshop meeting which is scheduled for December 11.
The commission prefers to have the full membership present before going into the evaluations and perhaps granting raises to Debra Sullivan, the city clerk, and Robert David, head of public works, the only two employees so affected.
Mayor Chris Arbutine announced the pertinent dates for next March's city election with qualifying and filing beginning December and ending December 19 at 4 p.m.
The election date is March 13.
Routine business occupied most of the meeting which lasted 40 minutes.
