Lights … cameras … watch the new live action version of Charlotte's Web showing in theaters starting Friday, Dec. 15. Before heading to theaters, moviegoers can help support 4-H in Florida by buying tickets online.
For every ticket purchased to see Charlotte's Web through www.fourhcouncil.edu, Hollywood Movie Money will donate $1 to 4-H to help support Florida 4-H Youth Development Program. State 4-H programs will receive 100 percent of donations as determined by ZIP codes, entered at purchase. This campaign lasts through January 2007.
In Pinellas County, the 4-H program is part of Pinellas County Extension, which is a partnership between Pinellas County and the University of Florida IFAS. More than 10,000 youth ages 5 to 18 take part in 4-H activities in Pinellas County. Many of these youngsters will attend the Charlotte's Web movie in club gear and promote the 4-H program in other ways.
